About the Artist

The face behind the canvas signed with a cross and her name through it, is Ohio Native, Chelsea Cross. Chelsea has been a creative for as far back as she can remember.

As an artist and designer she’s driven by the intersection of creativity, storytelling, and functionality. Her work spans between creating acrylic masterpieces to branding and illustration that lead to impactful campaigns. She does this by blending visual aesthetics with intentional design. She’s passionate about crafting experiences that are not only beautiful but meaningful—designed to evoke thought, feeling, and connection.

She also makes it a point to create representation in her art and designs. It’s important to center underrepresented voices, cultures, and identities through thoughtful imagery, inclusive design principles, and intentional storytelling.

Chelsea is a graduate from the Columbus College of Art and Design, as well as The Ohio State University. When she’s not painting or designing, Chelsea enjoys caring for her many plants, working on home DIY projects, exploring nature, and spending time with family..
